Just a weekly post that says, “in the last X days, we have not received any gag orders”
If the owner ever fails to post the canary clause, it’s assumed that there was a gag order.
Canaries are nowhere a proven mechanism and mostly focused on USA laws.
They are not perfect and foolproof but they are very effective when you consider how easy they are to implement
