Thanks, Jeans Balls!
Thanks, Jeans Balls!
I think he may be the only person on earth that has more of a unibrow when he doesn’t even have eyebrows.
I would be utterly shocked if it wasn’t.
I’m a millennial but too old to have ever watched Blue’s Clues, so I couldn’t give two shits when Steve left.
Also, it’s hilarious that this meme completely ignores Gen X.
This. Like ten years ago, when Samsungs had swappable batteries, they were super proud of it. They would advertise it as a feature that Apple doesn’t have.
When I was at a festival, Samsung had an activation where you could tweet at them with your phone model and location and they would send someone with a full battery to trade you for yours. It was an amazing free service that I used so many times, and every time, the jealousy on the faces of all the iPhone people was palpable. Then one year, they quietly removed the swappability from their new phones.
Swappable batteries are such a huge feature that most people don’t even know that they want.
I’m so tired of this “proper order” date debate among regions. Can’t we just accept that there can be more than one correct way to do things?
We commonly write dates 02/29/23 because we speak or write “February 29th 2023” while in other languages, it’s customary to speak or write “29th of February 2023” leading them to the common format 29/02/23.
Edit: to curb the ISO standard comments, yes, that is the most efficient and organized way to write a date, but how many of you speak dates in ISO format? If you don’t commonly say “2023 February 29th” out loud, then you intrinsically understand that not all situations call for the ISO standard.
Not sure about this particular site, but in my experience with sites that don’t have full time web developers on staff and only get a small percentage of their traffic from the UK/EU/EEA, complying is simply cost prohibitive since it will require a significant development budget without much payback, so by law, they are forced to block access to their site in affected countries.
And so is Eternal Sunshine, but in a totally different way.
I still hate it.
We already had a generic catch all word for creating in all of those mediums, and it’s called “media,” so it wasn’t even necessary to re-label it content.
Well isn’t this bot self-involved!
Still sounds a lot more than the $3 I pay here (even though it’s less than half as much).
Then I guess that makes prisoners human pets.
The distinction you are missing is indicating the post is from a bot rather than indicating the account is a bot. The difference in that distinction is that many Lemmy readers will not indicate anywhere on a post that it is from a bot simply because the account is labeled as a bot.
You just didn’t notice it. If you’ve owned a gasoline car, it had a temp guage, since it is a requirement.
Wow, that’s quite the spread between the two.
Where are you seeing 1.2m users? This site says that it tracks all instances and only shows 0.96m users total and 62k users in the past month.
Forget millions, and try billions.
Many people that live within the tropic zones could die if they aren’t able to migrate out of those zones. Because of that, we will have a refugee crisis much larger than the world has ever seen, and if previous much smaller refugee crises are any model, countries in the temperate zones will not welcome the refugees with open arms.
That’s the best analogy I’ve heard. Thanks, I’m gonna use it. And thanks for building mod tools since I probably used them.
I feel bad for this (possibly unpaid?) actor becoming a meme. She was duped the same as all the children and parents that bought tickets to that shitshow.
