Inspired by the linked XKCD. Using 60% instead of 50% because that’s an easy filter to apply on rottentomatoes.
I’ll go first: I think “Sherlock Holmes: A game of Shadows” was awesome, from the plot to the characters ,and especially how they used screen-play to highlight how Sherlocks head works in these absurd ways.
The Book of Eli with Denzel Washington (who said his son got him to sign on to the movie) and Mila Kunis. It’s 47% on Rotten Tomatoes.
What? It’s that low? I like this movie. It’s the closest we’ve got to Fallout 3: The Movie!
Don’t forget that there’s also Gary Oldman in this movie. I like The Postman with Kevin Costner and this movie has similar vibes.
So fixated on the heroes that I forgot about the iconic villains (and Commissioner Gordons).
I’ve seen that movie almost a dozen times and always enjoyed it, surprised to hear it’s reviewed that way.
I feel like it has to be due to people not liking the religion twist and Mila Kunis, right? I feel like it was easily 60% or up
