They’re sort of a hybrid between a strip mall and a business park. I see them in some areas. Two stories always, and a very warehousy design.
It’s an industrial park, they usually are more warehouse than storefront but all kinds of businesses use them
Business park or industrial park. Difference is if there are warehouses in the back or not

strata warehouse
Yeah possibly. I’m not actually in real estate so couldn’t say for sure. Colloquially, I’ve never heard them called that before
Either retail park or industrial estate in the UK, depending on if most of the businesses are retail/shops or not
We call these retail parks in the UK
Rapid climate change inducers
Just an FYI, even if we destroyed every single one of these strip malls across the entire planet, it still would not put a dent on reversing climate change producer output from militaries (USA and China) and industry.
Thanks for the FYI. Yes I know. Destroying ecosystems and habitats for thousands of square miles of this unlimited expansion of development absolutely does not help reverse climate change. And heating and cooling these gigantic cubic foot spaces is an additional burden on our energy systems and carbon footprints. Especially as we race towards another catastrophic extinction filter.
You could also call it a shopping plaza, either in a line or 2 (or possibly 3) sides along its parking lot.
Also bundled with those giant signs that list every store in the plaza.
Hey, that’s near the bowling alley!
Outlet mall?
