Decades ago we called this the poop shelf as well.
That does look like a hellscape.
The ol block of LSD to the noggin always does the trick.
I was like, that man should know better!
Lived in SoCal for a long while and have family in Germany. Have had access to inexpensive and incredible Mexican food. There are a host of cultural and economical reasons as folks have laid out already. One problem in particular is the cost of masa harina. It is incredibly expensive in Europe. One of those things where if you want it, you have to make it yourself. I recall a Jamie Oliver taco episode, I was appalled at what he made. His audience for this show was UK, it seemed. Should be against the law to call whatever that was tacos.
Post drivers, and I hated using them to make fencing.
Nope, I won it.
Overanalyzing is a feature, not a bug.
The US has too many guns. QED
Gross. Absolutely gross.
Corporate media with bias to keep the discourse between two seemingly distant yet very close poles.
Lack of corporate and rich taxation
Structural defunding and discrediting the public education system
Atomized working class
It may be true, but this is programmed in by corporate media and our lack of education on these subjects. Maintaining our echo chambers is by design, and not our design.
I can agree upon the police having leeway, or in other words, being accountable to no one. My city has an ordinance against high speed police pursuit. At the state level, there is a high degree of police liability built into jurisprecedent for high speed chases. That said, police are not accountable to laws. In other words, fuck the police.
Yes, it was 3 AM. They went out of their way to say that out wasn’t their fault because it was not a high speed chase. Despite the police vehicle pursuing at the same speed but one tenth of a mile behind until about a quarter mile away. The kids plow into the house and the cop turns off the lights at that point and drove right past it. Stating they didnt see it. It was under a street light. The camera would have proven they slowed down to look at it. The cops didn’t do anything or report it. It wasn’t until people walked by and happened to see the car at 6:30 am and called 911 did anyone show up. Fuck police.
In my neighborhood, a police chase ended in three teenagers pancaking their car into a house at 60 mph. They perished. All the houses had ring cams. Somehow astonishingly none of those cams were ever used against the police. Curious. ACAB every day. Also fuck Amazon.
That’s it. Half the benefit of Plex is that my library is easily accessible on my mobile and downloadable, but Plex chose a very weird Plexamp UX for downloaded content. Instead of using the tried and true music UX, they chose a fricking list that isn’t indexed. I don’t want to use different programs or systems for the very standard ways people listen to music.
I love Plex, but Plexamp leaves a lot to be desired. In my use case, especially for folks with bad mobile service and/or spotty wifi or folks who don’t want to be hitting their servers as frequently. I just want a good UX for downloaded music off my server.
Offended. Those are margarine dogs.
