  • A number of tells. Here’s my shortlist.

    • Missing work, school, or other important obligations. Basically neglecting responsibilities.
    • Preferring online interactions over face-to-face ones. On the phone all the time, even when with people.
    • Anxious, irritable, or depressed when not online
    • Losing track of time while online.
    • Sleep deprived.
    • Not sure how to answer when asked how much they’re online

    Don’t ask how I know…

I wish this blanket statement were true. Firefox is better in some respects, but surely not all. Tab and session management - just to name two examples - are just handled better by the Chromium crowd, as much as it pains me to say that.

That said, I still use Firefox in most cases.

The intelligence of a crow is estimated to be comparable to that of a 7-year-old human.

So I’d say yes, we expect more from a human adult.

Holding grudges is bad for us. It causes anxiety, depression and can even lead to feelings of hatred and revenge and other difficult outcomes. So yes, let it go. And if you can’t let it go, talk to the person who hurt you about it in a mature way. Often it’s just a misunderstanding. This will keep you healthy in more ways than one and contribute to happy relationships with those around you.

Easier said than done, but dealing with hurt feelings and letting go of resentment is always the healthy way to go.
