What about gerrymandering? Cap in the house leading to bad representation? The senate? I mean the senate still exists. States aren’t people like people pretended they were. So much has not changed.

Even Jefferson surmised it should be radically updated every few decades. I think he’d and many others would be pissed to realized we’re all held hostage by compromises that barely made sense at the time.

Yes potentially there was “mutual rape” or whatever you want to call it.

The point of the poster is that a) rape charges against men are often prosecuted, b) going to parties to find “easy women” who are to drink to legally consent, even if you are also at the same level of drunkeness, isn’t a great idea.

If the poster is sexist, it’s mostly just trying to market to its audience and the legal realities.

This is a poster trying to get 18 year olds to moderate and consider their behavior, not be a treatise on law or gender studies.

Yeah I thought thirty was old when I was in high school. Adults of a given age have been getting healthier and healthier my entire life. Being childless in my early thirties is also a blessing. But come on. I had time and no money at twenty one. Now I have money and wisdom. And still healthy. Probably healthier than I was at 21.

Sure lots of people in their twenties are still poorly and may be unhealthy but there’s no magic age where life is over.
