Thought it might be the Matrix, but then I remember that when my parents separated we only had one tape at my moms, Robocop, and no like movie channels. I was rewatching it like crazy.

Isn’t that the one where the guys who are supposed to be engineers do not even seem to know what a capacitor or battery is? Like they unplug the device and it is still showing signs of being “on”, and they say “what does that?” to imply it must be time travel.

I very rarely stop watching movies. I have suffered through some awful movies. But this was so stupid I just couldn’t continue. Me and my partner now have a running joke where if we unplug like a power cord with a little light powered by a capacitor then we point to it and go “look, time travel”.

Which parts are OpenTelemetry for? Is Prometheus Agent, Prometheus Server and Grafana not enough?

Not sure, but I think emacs at least used to have a reputation as a resourse hog and bloated. So maybe that?

In Sweden they seem to be trying to make the first one true. A university made it forbidden to have ‘any conversation that may be interpreted as political to a passer-by’ anywhere on campus. It was celebrated by the minister for higher education (liberal party member) as a brilliant step against “wokeness”. It was retracted, because it is not possible to enforce. But the government is doing an investigation against universities to root out “wokeness”.

Gentoo rolled back to 5.4.2 to have a version without any contributions from the person responsibe for the backdoor. 5.2.8 should be ok I’d say.

Depends on distro. But the backdoored package has not been around for more than a few weeks. But the malicious developer have been active for years.
