Because the ending to the original is so unsatisfactory?
Because the ending to the original is so unsatisfactory?
All of these animes have a fantastic story that even people who don’t regularly watch anime’s will love.
In his letter sent from jail, King went on to criticize white moderates. He said that a white moderate is someone “who constantly says: ‘I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action’; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man’s freedom.” Such a person is, according to King, someone “who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a ‘more convenient season.’”
Absolutely perfect, even 60 years later.
Probably meant under the sink cabinet or on the cabinet itself.
This may sound cheesy but this list is the healthy way to solve the issue people had with Lemmy.ml moderation. Thank you for compiling it, I didn’t reliaze there were instances for programming and anime. Glad to see a solution where we didn’t have to go through the adults (admins and mods in this case).
Also, it’s healthy for the fediverse to see communities spread on to many instances but it does make Lemmy harder for your average redditor to understand (but long term goal of a healthy fediverse is more important).
Also !greentext@sh.itjust.works is a bit more active than !4chan@lemmy.world
Yes, it is. Which genocide are they denying? Is it the Uyghurs?
selectively purge the modlog
Now this would be a good reason to defederate from an instance. Modlog is what keeps mods consistent (right now I don’t like the Lemmy.ml mods rulebrick but at least they were open about what they don’t like).
Hating their opinion is not a reason to defederate. Legitimate reasons are general harrasment (stalking specific individuals), racism, bigotry, CP, derailing entire threads (not just disagreement on a comment), etc.
A user’s ability to participate in a Linux community should not depend on them refraining from posting criticism about China or Russia.
I agree 100% with this statement. That’s not enough of a reason to defederate in my opinion. We need a better /c/Linux on our instance. It’s just that Lemmy.ml has more FOSS lovers.
There’s no need to defederate from Lemmy.ml. I rarely see their content on the front page of Lemmy.world. The other day someone complained that Lemmy.ml users were brigading a different thread. I counted three users with a ml domain…
We have different admins and mods, everything is working as intended. The issue is people bringing up tankies, communists, and China every three posts. Yes, we get it, the benevolent people who wrote us this software are communists. They allow us to have different mods and admins, there is no problem here.
Honestly, I wouldn’t post to /c/worldnews@lemmy.ml even though I’m happy with how pro-Palestine those people are. The only community I look at Lemmy.ml is /c/linux@lemmy.ml. It’s not their fault no one posts to the Lemmy.world instance.
I think it’s time to start banning users who troll other instances and cross pollinate the fediverse with drama.
I understand it’s a costly upgrade but at the end they would get the independence of government that many of them claim to want. But I get your point, people will lack what they can’t afford.
Doesn’t solar make your household independent from a big energy company? You would think conservatives in the sticks would especially appreciate renewable energy.
How do libertarians generally handle minority rights? Is it as bad as conservatives? A good example are all of these anti-trans and anti choice in abortion bills. What would a libertarian think of these?
Looking on the internet it kind of feels like libertarians are usually suburban people or people so out of the way that the messes in Washington don’t affect them as hard as those in the cities. So I have only met one and he didn’t seem to fond of our black coworkers, if you get what I mean.
Asking the real questions…
We can only hope that the engine from Legends Arecus will be feature rich and complete for Pokemon 10th gen.
The fact that Scarlett and Violet are not polished is ludicrous. They are most likely the same engine as Sword and Shield.
The Legends game was awesome for a Pokemon game. It definitely has a more modern feel than what we recently got. Still, the “Legends engine” was still missing a ton of features like abilities. I’m certain Legends was just a demo for the brand new engine.
I also doubt GameFreak as a developer studio. Imagine having the resources behind the world’s biggest cross-media franchise and your video games look and feel outdated by two decades. At least Legends Arecus was up there with Monster Hunter Tri (while lacking Arecus was very fun to be fair).
This is how the transphobic people get into Beehaw.
Spam filters must be on the fritz.
Smacks instance approximately where filters are.
Definitely hero. Love is real only if it hurts. He’ll come back stronger and be the hero we need… and probably the best hero we deserve too.
I see what you mean. The original used 25 episodes to cover the part of the manga Brotherhood did in like 12. Still, season 1 of Brotherhood is my least favorite so I don’t recommend the original myself.
