I hear what you’re saying but we actively cannot trust Republicans in this state. They didn’t have the votes to override a veto for the budget in 2019 so it had been going back and forth for a bit. Then on 9/11 while a bunch of the Democrats were out at various 9/11 memorials the Republicans called a surprise session, had all their people there and ready, and jammed the vote through with a “supermajority”. So you have to be prepared for them because they’re scumbags

I think most of your points are valid except the supermajority one. This state got the Supreme Court to say that our congressional districts were too gerrymandered (which is shocking in itself), and they just kept submitting even worse ones and then the Court decided to just stick to the old maps because they kicked the can too far down the road. Then one of the few democrats that got elected here turned out to be a snake and almost immediately flipped parties because the left was “too woke”. This state honestly should be blue based off the Triangle and Charlotte but Republicans have fucked it in such a way that they basically can’t lose power in any district so we’re “purple”

Yes, all movies with sound typically are. I just mentioned it because I’ve been to bars that had it on TVs while other music was playing and it was really cool to look at

Interstella 5555. It’s basically one long music video so there’s no dialog and it’s anime so the visuals are really striking

I react poorly to blood donation and have had these used on me, they are incredibly unpleasant. There’s no lasting harm, and they do work very well. Basically imagine a chemical burn throughout your nose, sinuses, and upper respiratory system that lasts 30 seconds. It works immediately and gets a very strong reaction

Isn’t that pretty explicit in Children? Leto II frequently chastises his genetic memory father/actual father for being a coward to afraid to commit to the golden path. Paul saw where the golden path led and couldn’t do it so he becomes the Preacher whereas Leto saw what was needed to guide humanity and thus sacrificed his to become The Tyrant

More specifically the IRS field book discourages reporting illegal income to other agencies for basically everything besides terrorism. Also, when you file taxes there’s a reason there’s an “other income” field. Nobody expects you to list “MS-13” as your employer. You can report money earned from illegal activities to avoid additional federal charges being tacked on

I’m curious what the market for a a bright and cheery souls-like game is. On one hand it seems like people really like the dark and oppressive atmosphere of those games but on the other all of the best ones are made by fromsoft and that’s just their MO. Lies of P had some success and it was walking that line. I guess we’ll have to see how this does

The “downside” I had is once or twice my DPS fell behind in levels, usually around the end of an expac. But then I just did some dailies with it and the problem was solved.

If you end up not liking one of your classes or one falls too far behind you can always pick up a class that starts at a higher level and pick dual leveling back up. At 50 there’s Dark Knight, Red Mage, and Machinist, at 60 is Gunbreaker and Dancer, then at 70 there’s Reaper and Sage

I leveled a Dragoon using the MSQ and a white mage doing all of the dungeons, my daily queues, and extra MSQ when my dragoon was over leveled. It was slightly slower but I was really happy to have two classes maxed around the same time. Then I picked up gunbreaker and had one of each role. I think it’s worth it because you’re going to spend so long clearing the MSQ anyway that you won’t really notice the extra time and if you level a tank or healer like I did you get to avoid DPS queue times
