The simplest way, if you want high quality:
Get a VPN (preferably one with port forwarding, like AirVPN)
Get qBittorrent and set the listening port to that forwarded port from your VPN host
Use the built-in search in qBit to find the stuff you want to watch
Open it in VLC
I got a little server from them a few weeks ago for $17/yr ($1.42/mo) and it’s great. 1 core, 2 GB RAM, 35 GB storage.
I used rclone to mount a Backblaze bucket and transferred a couple services to it, including Immich.
I think Immich has grown out of the most difficult upgrades now. Most changes now are just removing lines from the stack.
I love this app.
I think he means which zombie representation was the best among all media
I’ll take care of compressions
It looks like a mix of both, but the widened QRS complexes are what I’m going off of.
Based on that EKG, the fediverse is in some sort of v-tach and blood is not pumping efficiently enough to have a pulse
The typical ingredients are bacon, sausages, eggs, black pudding, baked beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, toast, fried bread and a beverage such as coffee or tea. Hash browns are a common contemporary but non-traditional inclusion.
Actually, it’s called gaslamping.
I highly recommend using Docker/Podman, even though you say you don’t want to. It is trivial to start up a new service using docker-compose once you get the basics down.
host:container when specifying ports or directories in the compose YAML (e.g. 58333:8080 will route the container’s port 8080 to the host machine’s port 58333.
Yes, it’s my IP. I know I’ll probably get shamed on here for that lol.
Dynamic DNS updater keeps the subdomain request.mywebsite.com pointed to my IP. Nginx resolves that subdomain to the Overseerr host:port with SSL cert and everything.
I’m eventually going to set up a VPS but I just… haven’t.
+1 for Overseerr/Jellyseerr
I have a website set up with dynamic DNS and Nginx to resolve request.mywebsite.com to Overseerr and it uses Plex to authenticate users who I’ve shared my library with. I’m not sure how Jellyseerr authenticates users though.
My friends and family that use my server regularly add stuff to my Plex server via Overseerr.
Home Assistant can be installed as a Docker container instead of going with the whole dedicated machine route.
No. MeTube only loads correctly after clearing the cookies and forcing me to re-login to Authentik. Even if I manually log out and try MeTube again, it doesn’t work. Only clearing cookies fixes it temporarily.
The other apps authenticate and load correctly every time.
AirVPN is excellent
I don’t think of it as ‘cool’ - I just view it the same as a preference.
Alcohol, weed, shrooms, and even some party drugs like ecstasy and such, are all fine in my book as long as they’re done responsibly.
I think once you venture down the path of abuse, it’s a problem. That goes for everything in this world - moderation is key.
Heroin, meth, and all the other hard drugs are a problem because they are so incredibly addicting that it’s almost impossible for someone to use in moderation.
