Eh, I definitely think it could be better and but still approachable.

Yeah, I think alot of media outlets just don’t understand the fedi… Or much TBH 😂
Yeah, it feels like pandering crap for sure.
Literally cloudflare tunnel, sorry my dude.
It looks so wrong, but probably tastes so right. Sweet and savory.
We all do…
Not sure how different the cloud one vs self hosted one is. TBH I’d skip self hosting a Kanban board.
Did you sign up with email?
It’s actually a whole team 💗
Yes, that was the idea…
We love to be the home of smaller communities, but for sure, any larger ones should look into running on their own setup. If you need help, drop us a line!
I’ve been using NoMachine a lot for remote desktop and it works great! SSH for everything else tho. Never really liked VNC, was always a RDP person.
So glorified help desk folks… Kids these days don’t have a clue how anything actually works…
Yeah, I love Inoreader cause it’s got a paywall jumper built in, even on the free plan. I’ve been wanting to get a self hosted one, but they are all a PITA to setup or don’t have a good multi device sync.
The key is to tag all your posts, so other people can find them. You get followers here and there, but not too often. I never post of Lemmy, but post a ton of stuff on Mastodon. TBH, I mostly doom scroll RSS these days.
Basically Inoreader -> InstaPaper -> Mastodon
Welcome to Lemmy, here’s your free copy of Linux 😂
Lemmy has the issue that it’s user base is small and click-y. Still better then Reddit though.
Different things for different needs.
I get all my news from RSS feeds and get JUST my social media from Mastodon. Lemmy is more for the quick Reddit fix.
Lot of love for GitLab, it’s a solid enterprise product.
