I absolutely agree with you. My former flatmate didn’t like to use the dishwasher because according to her, it wouldn’t clean the dishes properly. Yet she would load the dishwasher by stacking the plates horizontally… as you would store them in a cupboard
Not a younger person, but last concert I attended, the artist was selling bandcamp codes for their albums (I got two for €5 each). On top of that CDs and vinyls, each would include a bandcamp code too, so I assume people without CD players or turntables can get the physical item and still enjoy the music digitally
I managed to pass this as a kid and a friend invited me to his house so I could pass it for him. That was my peak and my life has gone downhill ever since.

Used to live in an earthquake zone right in front of the ocean, so tsunamis were always a risk.
So I kept a bug off bag with water, clothes, blanket, cereal bars, lights and a battery pack ready to go by my bike.
I did use it once and skipped all over the traffic going to the shelter. Fortunately the water didn’t rise enough to be a threat, but I thanks to the peace of mind the bag brought, I didn’t even stress during the evacuation
