I think Valve is about to pull a Nintendo on Nintendo. While they have been playing 3d chess against Sony and Microsoft, by focusing on the pure gaming aspects of gaming. The one blind spot they have always maintained was modding, emulation, and hardware communities. That plus shift how Xbox live wasn’t just a phase, but a elevation of the gaming experience.

Valve has stayed constant following the gamers and answering their calls and concerns. Stayed true to gamers and the developers.

Why not self host vaultwarden? I was using keepas for all of the reasons OP mentioned, but my woes went away when I migrated over.

Clean export from keepas and import into vauktwarden. Plus with passkeys being deployed, is there a reason against it?

I started on my own windows xp machine. Before moving to a nas for image storage. Now, I have nextcloud running on a separate machine. With Arch documentation is very good where most services will be turn key. Especially if you don’t mind downtime. The best thing is get to know your setup. Well said, but I will say reddit felt more like being out in public. So you kept your distance and didn’t really interact, but here feels more like being at someone’s house that you know. At the moment. The federation aspect is a different wrinkle but ultimately will lead to a better experience overall. No ads is a huge bonus!

I have reolink cameras and they were pretty plug n play.

HA picked up the reolinks once connected, but integration with frigate requires some setup. The frigate HA integration works very well.

Oh and for notifications to work well… Or how you expected to work. Having the mqtt server setup will help as well.
