  • I like to say having a strong centralized governments has its pros and cons. It allows things to get done on if the government focuses on it(e.g Covid Vaccination development and speed), but on the flip side, if the government chooses to hinder it, then anyone related would heavily be affected (e.g the recent bankruptcy of Evergrand) which more or less hurt anyone who invested money into it, something a good chunk of citizens do (as many invest in housing, be it local, or internationally)

  • Its unusual for FSR. But the upscaling tech roots in anti aliasing. DLSS was originally designed to be an anti aliasing tech, quite litterally in the name (Deep Learning Super Sampling), so it isnt out of the picture that FSR could be used for the same. It was only later marketed to get more performance at lower resolutions afterword. (Im aware the post is not your thoughts, just more of a response to the specific segment you pointed out)

You basically have the problem non americans have with hersheys chocolate. Your head associates mint with toothpaste like how typically europeans attribute butyric acid(found in american hersheys chocolate) to vomit.

If one had say, had mint bubble gum, drinks, raw mint(south east asian cuisine) or ice cream before getting used to toothpaste, you likely wouldn’t attribute mint to it.

  • its because of how culturally relevant english is as a language to make others pick it up as a second language. Take for example coding, programming languages were mainly built around english monikers, so a very basic level of english understanding is helpful when doing that. Then you get to the large wall that is western, primarily American media and how its more or less it’s largest export.
