Run everyone’s content through some sentiment analysis, and now you have a great set of users, emails and their commonly used IP, grouped into interests, general mood, and political leanings, perfect for advertising.

No hobby or passion.
Some people just seem to work, then come home and watch whatever is shown to them on TV or scroll through their phone. And that’s it, other than socialising, that’s their lives.
I don’t look like I’m wearing a tracksuit, but I often wear loose fitting comfortable clothes when travelling long distances. What’s the issue you have with it? You could do the same and be comfortable, and probably less stressed 😅

Why would you recommend these browsers instead? Do they offer something better?
I’m just asking questions, as I haven’t personally had many issues. I’ve had some, but not the ones mentioned by the people here. I feel like people would prefer to have a browser with an ad blocker so I’m interested in what hurdles people are finding that may be stopping them.

I used to use Firefox before chrome released. It used to be the best, but chrome took the crown after Firefox became a memory eater.
Now chrome is being all iTunes walled garden, and Firefox also recently overtook it in terms of speed.
I installed it alongside my trusty chrome install, played around with extensions(or add-ons) until the experience mostly matched, and switched over once I was satisfied.
Chrome’s still installed if I need it, but I haven’t needed it!

But the app is on android. A Google ecosystem, downloaded from the Google play store, displaying Google ads.
You’re already Google’s bitch before you download the app, so complaining about how a small, solo, full time developer is trying to monetise his creation using google ads just seems a little pedantic.
If you don’t like the ads, pay for the service or don’t use it at all. Personally I was happy to pay for the service, but for some reason people are still angry at the developer.
But they’re not his trackers, he just enabled ads. And ads happen to have trackers built in.
And I think the reason everyone is so angry is BECAUSE it’s completely transparent and lets you know exactly what the ad services are tracking, which scares the FOSS crowd.
Either way, I paid $20, have no trackers for life, and a really good app.
