That, or you can request an invite (given the community allows for it).
Currently on two 4tb drives and I’m constantly running out of space
Oh my fucking god this is a huge pain point for me. I couldn’t find a solution so I resorted to importing the cookie from my laptop but looks like smarter people than me have figured it out.
Yeah some very good reads in this thread, cool to see everyone actually having a conversation instead of contrarianism left and right (some of that here… but not as much). I think I was pretty clear, but some people seem to think I meant that you shouldn’t change your lifestyle.
I meant that we should be holding those companies accountable in conjunction with making personal changes. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Not to derail this, because hey, nothing wrong with prepping/trying to help your community. But let’s not forget that 100 companies are responsible for 70% of emissions since 1988.
Woah, seems like I started something. I specifically said there was nothing wrong with doing your part, but that we shouldn’t forget it’s not our fault.
I haven’t been into this stuff for very long. Is there a particular reason for this?
Did you primarily doomscroll when you were on twitter? If so that’s probably why it seems dead to you.
Anything from Nintendo is fair game IMO.

It would be hilarious if a random got that domain and threw a mastodon instance on it. They’ll probably keep it though lol
It’s a bit problematic. What about the profile makes you think they’re “pretending” to be black?
I agree it should at least be an option, but you can just use middle click for now or right click>new tab.
I think you mean claim. Strikes are on the channel and are much worse for the creator.
DuckDuckGo uses their own web crawlers along with a few others (but not google’s). Probably just haven’t indexed it yet.
Komikku (linux) is great on desktop fwiw, though I know that won’t be useful for everyone. It’s on flathub.
We always knew this would happen though.
Mastodon feels empty because most people probably aren’t using it as intended (following people you want in your timeline, following/using hashtags, etc). Also, it is empty compared to the popular platforms - they only have like 2M users which is a lot but not compared to Twitter or Threads.
I don’t hate crust but I prefer the texture of a sandwich without the crust, so I eat most of the crust before eating the rest of the sandwich… I usually only do this when eating alone lol
