  • I disagree with bringing in more redditors to this site. I think the community ambassador system is a quick way of creating a bunch of powermoderators on a system that’s supposed to be designed to resist that kind of behavior and centralization.

If you hate being downvoted because of disagreement, why would you want to bring more users who default to that behavior?

I also do not believe you should have any more power or capacity in the fediverse. It’s clear to me by your behavior in this thread that even basic things like being downvoted can set you off and make you decide to try to start a witch hunt.

  • No, the game is still a scam because it’s been literally over a decade of development and every time I’ve been invited to go try the latest and greatest in their innovation, the game is laggy as balls and the servers never work. Also the fact that they have ships costing as much as actual automobiles that people purchase despite still being technically in beta is absolutely bonkers. They’ve had several waves of crowdfunding and the game is still in a pretty garbage state.

Trust me, I’ve wanted an actual successor to Freelancer for longer than this game has been in development, and it still doesn’t scratch the itch because whenever I try to play it, the game essentially doesn’t work.

Cost discipline is the last thing on these guys’ radar. A 20,000 dollar ship? That’s like a third of somebody’s annual salary.

  • Not sure how that got deleted.

That’s just what lemmynsfw is unfortunately. It’s mostly bots reposting content or girls hocking their OF. There’s like Sexmeat who used to be a redditor, with a far more vulgar name (Fuckmeat) and maybe a half a dozen others.

.world might not be federated with NSFW communities, as a lot of major instances don’t want to deal with the legal ramifications of hosting pornography in any form. .ca has not defederated from the NSFW instances, however most of our userbase tends to block the communities when they do pop up, assuming they have NSFW enabled.

I started to find the porn side of things to be weird and pathetic. Outside of the random ass niche fetish communities popping up, it just feels really sad to see the same half a dozen girls trying to advertise to basically nobody. We have an infinitesimally smaller userbase than reddit, and as much as I like seeing naked ladies, OF ads get fucking tiresome and I think they are way less effective here than elsewhere.
