Your experience here is what I mean. You have used Windows a lot, so you understand how it all works. I don’t.

I struggled to find drivers for obscure hardware under Windows. If there are no modules, no git repo, it can be confusing where to get them. I found a bunch of sketchy looking websites that claimed they had the drivers, but no obvious way to safely install them. I still don’t know the proper way to do it.

I am familiar with Linux, so I know I need to find modules that I can compile against my kernel. 9 times out of 10 it’s effortless for me.

It’s not that Windows is easier. It’s that you’re more familiar with Windows.

I still use that. 😅

I like to eat green beans like french fries. I’ll even dip them and catch up and/or barbecue sauce.

Nothing on my plate can touch, especially if they are different textures. Textures are almost as important as flavor. This is the main reason why I don’t eat zucchini.

When I really like something I want it the same way every time. Don’t try to dress it up with new stuff, it was perfect before, I want it the same way.

I spend a lot of time with YouTube running while I work. For reading the news I have RSS feeds that I’ve accumulated from sites that I like. I spend a lot of time on Lemmy and Mastodon.

I don’t use search as much anymore, cause often when I’m searching for a solution my results are more accurate using Chat GPT (and more and more local LLMs).

The internet is changing and that’s okay.

I went the seed box route and I’ll never go back. It’s faster and I don’t even need a stable connection. Start the download from my phone and it’s waiting for me when I get home.
