Can confirm the UK is in the middle of a dental crisis.
My own experience was waiting on a list at the practice the rest of my family goes to for 5 yrs before they admitted they are short on dentists and haven’t been able to fill spots.
I then had to spend an afternoon phoning around 40 of the local dentists looking for someone that could put me on there books.
On the up side I am getting the tidy up work I have needed since just before lockdown on the teeth I smashed as a drunk teen at last
2 simple words that poison a game for me sight unseen “live service”

When I was at uni lecturers would often state that exams were thr worst measure of grasping the subject material but its all we have at the moment.
I saw this my self with some of my class mates testing very well but when discussing or problem solving outside of the class there was nothing there.
I think llms fall into this category but with way better recall.
You know I never thought to ask

In the context of prehistory it’s to my knowledge taken to be short for mankind and feck all else. I agree its ambiguous in the modern age which is likely why it’s dieing out. Science doesn’t like ambiguous wordage
In history where we have names and context I absolutely agree and it is good to see the important women in history finally getting brought to the forefront
I always read this type of statement as man = species.
I know this particular thinking is falling out of fashion but it’s not totally dead yet
But despite the fact we don’t want money for it we hate the idea of you getting it for free more
They will just reboot it pretending it’s original
