ReVanced is a modded YouTube (and others) app. IE normal YouTube but you fuck with it locally to skirt what got the original Vanced guys. Adblock, OLED black theme same old thing Vanced provided. I’ve used NewPipe very little but I’d summerise a comparison as ReVanced has better user experience (thanks to Google making the app) and you can sign in/get notifications ect

I love everybody missing the point by trying to be super smart and tell you that you can use phones too much. Computers of all sorts folks just cause you browse lemmy on your pc doesn’t mean you are better than anybody else.

Primarily I think the issue is social media. Instagram, Twitter, Facebook you know the ones. If you use these platforms a ton you should uh stop you’ll feel better. One of the best decisions I made was deleting my Instagram, Twitter and Facebook account something like 5 years back. If you can’t just delete your account put a time limit on how long you can use the app. Have a good think about how much of your day you want to be mindless scrolling.

No dude it’s literally everybody who wants them bombed. They are attacking civilian trade vessels. They were warned by the UN and shit. It’s not the USA going out of its way to bomb brown people it’s the USA bombing people who have continued to purposely interrupt international trade after being told explicitly there will be consequences. They were/are breaking international fucking law.
