That’s definitely not the quality of answer I was expecting. Thank you. I’d not realized Sony has been such an innovator.

Why is the “high end” brand Sony?
About 1998: I tried to ask a Sony receiver to deliver about 80% published RMS. After about two minutes it went into a protection mode, never to recover, bricked.
About 2005: A used Sony 5.1 HT setup’s receiver failed. The speakers said 4 Ohm on them. An HK 4 ohm stable receiver begs to differ. Speakers went to Craigslist.
I’ve been avoiding Sony for nearly 20 years. Are they doing something right for playback devices such as a CD player?
Because if you don’t do as the others then you’re perceived as personally attacking their bandwagon comfort. Said another way, your nuanced ideology is far less important than their shallow feelings.

That’s nice.

The USA kills lots of people: Native Americans, African Americans, Arabs, Asians. We’re still doing it, now even to whites in Ukraine. It’s all to feed the military industrial complex, just as Eisenhower warned. War is why capital reserves for banks have been raised and why the Fed speaks of lowering the borrow rate. Admitting it is the difference between a patriot and a nationalist.
What false premise?
I don’t care which party takes advantage of the principles of the labor platform.
I need not read links to identify your false premise. The goal isn’t that a certain party win. The revolutionary isn’t loyal to party, only principle. It doesn’t matter which group of opportunistic assholes “win”.
You’re flat out wrong, likely rooted in ignorance of the system. Without choice on the ballot it can’t be voted for. The obstacles to access are far greater than winning an ideoloical majority.
Consider the alternative of putting the Green platform on every ballot in 2028, overcoming the first and largest obstacle maintaining duopoly. It takes only 5% of the GE popular. Then, watch as Democrats panic to maintain the “big tent” for four years.
I’m a triple minority. I’ve suffered assholes my whole life. Things got worse under Trump. But, that damage is already done. In this facet nothing changes for me if it’s Trump once again. I’m not afraid. We must think in terms much greater than four years.
Trump lacks the numbers, the budget, and the leadership. Much has changed in 8 years.
The blue wave doesn’t care about wisdom or agency any more than MAGA. The masses mistake revolutionary and Russian agent in false dichotomy. And, the .world mods are more than complicit.
The majority here will hate you for truth. There are better venues for it.
Qu’ils mangent de la brioche.
Brioche.
No sugar for peasants.
US Democratic voters unwilling to recognize systemic faults, perceive how they apply to their chosen politicians, or reason their way to incremental action beyond voting and virtue signaling. They’re the third of the country that watches while one third kills another third.
For others, the number is 8 “monthly active users”.
As this instance is partially operating on “free” hardware, it’s unlikely one can host an instance for much cheaper.
Would you mind sharing your active user count?
Yes. I’ve a father in law for that :)
Now that you’ve chosen to say it I understand.
I agree that the internet was much more useful in the early days. Much of that content of merit is likely still there. But, it’s much, much harder to find. One basically needs to specifically know what resources exists before searching for it.
Nothing matters if there’s no meaningful choice on the ballot. And, your single issue perspective is part of the problem: You put your feelings first.
