Petterson is iconic but he would be nothing without Findus.
German, Dad, GM , Mini Painter, 3D Printer, dysfunctional gifted kid - he/him
Petterson is iconic but he would be nothing without Findus.
I agree. I also think ads do influence us way more than almost anyone would believe or admit. Why else would companies spend hundreds of millions of dollars on ads without batting an eye. Many products cost as much or less than their ad campaign cost to make.
So I try to avoid ads as much as possible. I haven’t seen or heard an ad in a long time aside from billboards and posters which are basically impossible to avoid.
As an outsider it seems absolutely weird that the US as a country seems to have accepted people getting shot by other regular people daily as normal.

I think the whole true love thing is bullshit and I am in a very happy longterm relationship. But it’s just love. Love is the feeling that it is. There is no true version of it. All love is the same. But relationships are not built on love alone. The true love concept makes it come across to me that way though. That if things don’t work out your love just wasn’t true enough. You just have to love harder and truer next time. It’s even worse when the concept gets extended to there only being one true love per lifetime or whatever.
It’s not that. Imo all love is created equal. It’s the other factors that make things work or not work. Compatibility with the partner, how hard you try, how much you try, how mature you are. Honesty, trust. But also external factors such as how easy or hard life is at that time for you. Even the greatest relationships can fall apart in the shittiest of times. Doesn’t make the love less true.
I’m not ranting. You’re ranting.
Hey you two can’t just be nice to each other on the internet. This is not how it works around here.
Where exactly does the thin line between meme and shitpost lie?
In a time where satire lags behind real events and dystopian fiction has become the best predictor of the future of the world, nightmares are but normal dreams.
If there is an artistic part to the content the sure. If someone is reporting news I’d say it’s more akin to a journalist for example. Or a comedy show I might call a performer or comedian. But sure I know content creators who make set as well. Good point.
I use it as a derogatory term. Content creator is for the people who create content that is imo valuable. Influencers I use for the type of person who makes content to sell as space.

Umziehen - to change clothes, to move to a new home
aufziehen - to tease or ridicule someone, to wind up a clockwork, to raise kids
abziehen - to leave, to scam someone, to pull something off something else
herziehen - to gossip about someone
Anziehen - to attract something, to put on clothes
Yeah there are some of these for ziehen. You might be on to something. But for many generic verbs there are many variants with vastly different meanings. Like Machen - to make, or tun - to do, gehen - to go.
English grammar is alright as far as languages are concerned. There is some bs but nothing exceptional.
Pronounciation in the English language on the other hand is absolute insanity. If there are any rules besides grouped up exceptions then let me know.
That plays a role for a lot of people probably. I’d think the majority got ripped over the edge by the third party app thing because the default UI in the app and browser are just worse.
In my case it is auto correct on my phone. Maybe because people text about AI so much that their auto correct thinks it is supposed to be AI instead of UI. Like mine did.
Many of us left reddit due to which AI UI we prefer. So I can see why this happens now.
If you can’t explain it you don’t truly understand it.
Maybe there is a lot of projecting going on here. ‘if I don’t get it as a smart VP person then gamers definitely won’t get it.’ just an idea.
I only know the German translation where the name is Petterson.
