Thanks, I have been watching the graph of the lag behind time and its nice to see it now at 6.1 days.

Oh wow, yeah its like night and day. Well now I guess I have to figure out a fix.
Sad times if I have to find another instance, again.
Any ideas what can be done longer term to address this (in general)?
Since I can’t see anything here I will check on .world
Used to have .world but for this I just test without logging in.
Thanks for the reply (I was worried no one would) but would that cause the weird behaviour I am seeing? The timing does not seem to match but it could make some sense.
If what you are saying is the cause then Lemmy as a federated whole may now be effectively split up due to sync issues?
I decided to do a bit more then just “hot” and “active” and its the same across all of them except “controversial” and “Most comments”.
“Most comments” has some .world posts in it but does not match using another instance. The only one that seems to line up is ironically sorting by “controversial”,
This is really getting weird and is making it hard to use Lemmy for me. Like I like some of the posts listed but I can not believe the largest instance is not posting anything. To make me more confused this also started at the same time Mander got really slow, and to add to the weirdness refreshing the page gives entirely different sorting of posts maybe one out of five times.
Yay, another Chromium based web browser. That will show them…
Please provide valid sources to back up your comment. Thanks.
And invented a bed with a bunch of wires and pullies for people who are crippled (after he got polio). Oh a good idea from the worst man ever you might think, NOPE this invention was also deadly and after a malfunction killed him.
Are they just trying to destroy your soul and your health?
Yes,
But likely for a very stupid reason like 50 years ago some consultant had to give a plan to increase efficiency but forgot until the night before.
Yeah, unless you have really big tires to reduce ground pressure the EV off roaders will always have an issue. On the other hand the torque is great. I think the issue is having EVs that have more power then needed because beating a supercar is funny. If they made a small EV with just enough power for highway driving and good gearing for range you could have a good allrounder. But nope, gotta be giant, heavy and stupid fast.
This thing is like 6600 lbs, and on what look like street tires. Airing down would be great, before this was highcentered. I am also not so keen on getting under that to dig it out.
Its really heavy, and on sand that is all it takes. (well that and spinning the tires for a bit)
Something about being brave enough comes to mind
Science!
OK, this is the take away. Never give up, never quit, don’t let your shit knife be dreams!
This is not bad and will (and i can not stress this enough) be in my next presentation.
Thank you for apologizing and not turning out to be a total asshat as that would have been awkward.
(leaving this space in case ass is worn like hat in the future)
You sure got a lot of context out of “they certainly don’t hate them enough to chase them away when they are smoking meth on the train”. I don’t think that was a great thing to say (not that it is not an issue and needs to be addressed) but instead of even trying some level of communication or rebuttal it seems like everyone just went full “reactionary” on them.
There is no “sense for this time of debatebro” or ability to see enough text to pull from that one sentence a sentence of endless fascism (or whatever problematic box). They have every right to get upset and go around other instances, because yours banned them. I have not seen a lot of humility here from anyone involved but what gets me is that some people think they get all the rights but others don’t.
Yes it does matter whether they live in LA or not as in one case they could be relating an actual experience they had and the other would be them spinning a web. In once case you could do some good and engage and for the other prove they where wrong and acting in bad faith.
Yeah, first time I have been cheering for line go down that I can think of.
