Nope, Lemmy is just the software after all. It would be up to the individual instances to set up some kind of TOS or age verification.

I’ve tried a number of fitgirl ones and had only around a 50% success rate with them.
A lot of repack installers won’t work in Linux, not even with proton. Use the original scene release instead if you can.
They’re not all permanent, Lemmy displays the duration in the mod log. I agree that there should be some kind of notification though.
It just says “mod” for me.
I’ve used Lemmy for a while and just recently felt like I was missing a feature for the first time: I’d love if there was some kind of mod mail functionality. One of my posts was removed by a moderator and I wanted to ask why, but I obviously didn’t know which mod did it, so I just randomly messaged someone from the list. There should be a more “elegant” way to do this, like some kind of functionality that allows a user to send a message directly to the community or the moderation team itself.
One of the nice things about Lemmy is that you actually get replies under your posts/comments and it’s not just repeating phrases to earn as much karma as possible. There’s always a sweet spot of engagement in online communities and I feel like we’re pretty close to where it begins. Other sites just make you feel like you’re shouting into the void.
+1 for The Matrix. I once watched the film at a theater where the music was played live by an orchestra. One of my favorite movie experiences of all time. The soundtrack is incredible.
This lighthouse is the oldest building in my city (Hamburg, Germany). It was completed 714 years ago. I actually had to look it up, I was kind of expecting the oldest building to be older than that.
Why? Doesn’t look like there’s any explanation for this move.
Lemmy is also not tracking the sites you visit. Everytime you click on a link on reddit, you’re redirected through out.reddit.com.
A lot of them will be used as camper vans anyways. Just remove the seats and enjoy the additional space.
the issue is maintenance not the design
Oh yeah absolutely, not denying that.
Beats American style suburb 8/10 times IMHO
Only if you’re lucky enough to live in one of the few well-maintained ones. At least in Russia, many are falling apart with loose handrails, water damage, sketchy elevators and mold.
Damn, I had no idea.
It’s been a while since I’ve seen this meme template being used correctly
This reads like some random dialogue from Cruelty Squad.
Apparently it’s called a Katsugyo Bag and used to carry/transport expensive fish for whatever reason.
