PHP has lasted 30 years while newer frameworks and languages from tech companies barely last 5.
When I was studying I used php but not a lot so I don’t really have an opinion for it, why the “hate” for it? Coming from someone who uses React a lot
Badly designed, no standard naming convention ( is it array_push, arraypush, array->push() or something else), shitty docs, prepending variable names with $ is annoying imo, etc.
Recent versions are starting to fix this, and I like PHP actually. But I understand the hate.
