Hi all,

I have shattered pixel dungeon and it’s amazing. Love it.

I also have and love Unciv and Mindustry.

I’m looking for more great games that don’t collect your name, contacts, sms history, billing details, healthcare info, gender and race info, location data etc etc.

The games don’t have to be open source, but it would be preferable.

I’ve donated good money to all games listed above as I love them. So not chasing free. Just chasing trusted.

Thank you

I’ve really been enjoying Brotato premium edition on android and steam. It says it uses no permissions on android but no idea what info they get when you buy it.

Thanks for listing those other games, I’m going to go check them out.

Edit: and I’ve been playing shattered pixel dungeon for 2 minutes and know I will love it.

I don’t play any mobile games so I unfortunately don’t know any recommendations but if sandboxing an app that doesn’t respect your privacy sounds like a good solution to you, you could try shelter. Additionally, the Aurora Store can show you what permissions and trackers an android app on the Play Store uses.

Shelter is a great tip, if only for my need to run multiple instances of an application!

[Edit] Shoot, it doesn’t work when there is an existing work profile.

If you’re into retro gaming, Lemuroid is a frontend fro libretro that runs on Android.

Just install Lemuroid (it’s on FDroid if you don’t use Google), and then you’ll have to get your ROMs. Not going to share any ROM sites here, forums usually don’t like that.
